The western is due for a resurgence. A re-ascent. A renaissance, if you will. (Yes, I know renaissance means re-ascent. Stop it.)
So, when the illustrious David Cranmer (writing as Edward A. Grainger) - editor of Beat to a Pulp - asked me to do a cover for his short story collection, I jumped at the chance. I love old west prints.
The stories look great. They're hardboiled westerns. Six-gun Noir.

Gorgeous, John. But, you know, manly-gorgeous. (Wait, that sounds even worse.) Seriously, the cover's perfect for David's collection.
