New cover I did for the inimitable Bryan Smith. Just FYI, looks like a Kindle release of his first novel will be coming soon. More info here when I know it.Didn't try to get all fancy on this one. I kinda wish I dealt with the colors of the halftone screaming woman a little better and muted the text colors some. I will play with them when I have a chance.
I am pleased with the slightly retro look, though.

I like the retro look there. Kinda reminds me of an old 80s (or is that 70s?) occult horror movie. Good stuff, as always.
ReplyDeleteAs I told John in email, I think this is perfect for the book. It looks sort of like a grindhouse poster from the 70's, which is exactly the look I asked Leisure for when the paperback version was in production way back when. I even emailed them pictures of movie posters like that. Of course they ignored my input, whereas John got it right on the money on the first try (not that I'm surprised).
